Occasionally we come across stones that dictate the design, and this pair of stunning emeralds is one example. The clarity and color of these are so exceptional they had to be central. 'Marakata' is the Sanskrit name for emerald and it translates as 'the green of growing things' and we found it to be the best description for this pair of earrings. The emerald is positioned east to west and is framed with a simple line of pure gold granules. An equally stunning diamond sits at the top and was selected for its perfect proportion to the emerald. The diamond triad at the bottom completes the regal look.
Each emerald is 8x7 mm in size and is 1.17 carat weight. Each of the large diamonds is 0.16 carat weight, G-H in color and VSI clarity. The ear wires are 22k gold.
